Am I me today

Who will I be today

 

A person with a bright smile today

An angel radiating glee today

 

Will I be shut out from the world

Ready to flee today

 

A beautiful butterfly flying amongst others

I will sting like a killer bee today

 

My voice is drowned out by the masses

Will people hear my plea today

 

My thoughts are not often heard

They are as loud as a banshee today

 

As I grow older, I become myself

I feel free today

 

I speak my voice

I stand as strong as a tree today

 

It's easy to get lost in an endless blue ocean

But I navigate the sea today

 

Every day there is something new to discover

That is my reality today
